Pelorus Belle, our super stable 8-metre catamaran, has been modified in 2019 with a unique fold-down platform for entering the water safely and super easily. When you exit the water there is a hot fresh water rinse off to warm you up. 

There’s a comfortable cabin inside for warmth, an outside shaded area, and space fully out in the open for unobstructed enjoyment of the scenery and sun/sea spray on your face. With plenty of room, and numbers limited to 12 passengers, you are not restricted to one seat.

At Bay of Islands Snorkelling we care very much for the environment, so we have re-powered Pelorus Belle with two modern Yamaha 225HP outboard engines to improve her sustainability and to keep our carbon footprint as low as we can. These efficient state-of-the-art engines get us around the bay in no time!

Pelorus Belle has been a jack of all trades in her life,  Crayfishing boat, taxi service, deliverer of goods, a charter fishing boat and now a great Snorkelling Boat!
